A new student enrolls at Ayanagi Academy, a music-focused high school, inspired by a performance he once saw. During his early time there, he forms friendships with four classmates. Their initial interactions mark the beginning of a shared musical journey. This version reimagines the first encounters of the group in an updated retelling.
