In Shinzui, a nation where perfumers hold high status, Riri, a skilled perfumer from the city, is chosen to join the Crown Prince Kousho’s inner palace. Her presence there is not for personal gain but to complete a task left unfinished by her late father: creating the fabled treasured incense. The prince discovers her true purpose shortly after her arrival and reveals a surprising response.
