Koumon-sama: Suke-san no Yuuutsu

This historical work is inspired by the traditional Mito Kōmon period drama. Taking place in Edo-period Japan, a powerful daimyo from the Mito-domain faces ongoing losses of his bodyguards during their journeys. To address this, he initiates a selection process targeting the most destitute samurai, known as rounin. One such rounin, Inouse Shinnosuke, seeks to demonstrate his worth to the authorities in hopes of securing a position and improving his financial situation.
