A mineral researcher named Suzu loses consciousness at work and awakens in the world of an otome game, reincarnated as Mahalia, the villainess. To avoid the fate of the game's storyline, she flees the royal palace and heads to a coal mine, where she meets Abel, the mine’s leader. To improve her chances of survival, Suzu suggests using coke, a form of coal not yet known in this world, to produce steel.
