The second centers on Oshichi of Yaoya in Edo. The third involves Osan of Daikyouji Koyomiya in Kyoto. The fourth follows Osen of Taruya in Osaka. The final story features Oman of Ryuukyuya in Satsuma. Each narrative explores the personal and emotional struggles of its protagonist.
