Kousoku Esper
光速エスパー
A character created in 1964 by Riji Asano, it was originally featured in children's materials for a Japanese electronics company. After the initial manga and TV series ended, the show was soon re-aired, and the manga was later revived by Leiji Matsumoto. This revival led to the Matsumoto version becoming the official mascot of the company, which continued to use the character in promotional materials and product illustrations.
