Koyomimonogatari

The narrative is told from the perspective of the main character, moving through earlier moments in the story where key figures are still present, such as the mysterious Oshino and the brooding former vampire Shinobu. The story revisits past events in a case file style, gradually returning to the current timeline before abruptly resuming the main plot. Themes of paths and journeys are explored through nostalgic recollections that echo the first story's case file format, though not all strange occurrences are supernatural—everyday elements like stones, flowers, and wind can also be peculiar. The segments covering October to March focus on six women who are either non-human or older than the narrator, each with their own distinct traits. These include the class president Hanekawa, the sharp-tongued Senjogahara, the mischievous Hachikuji, the bold Kanbaru, the shy Sengoku, and the justice-driven Karen. The story also involves the narrator's interactions with his younger sister Tsukihi, the enigmatic Ougi, the reclusive Shinobu, the ghostly Ononoki, the eccentric Kagenui, and the calculating Izuko Gaen.
