Kuchi ga Mimi made Sakeru Toki

Sakura is taken in by a family consisting of a mother and grandmother due to her own family's financial struggles. The mother exhibits unusual physical traits, including abnormally cold skin, a mouth that occasionally splits open, and a neck that appears stretched. As Sakura becomes more familiar with her new life, she learns that another girl was adopted into the household a year prior but vanished the following winter.
