Kudan no Folklore

A local urban legend known as "Kudan" is said to appear as a woman in a Western mourning dress, missing a right wrist and wearing a black veil. Those who see her are believed to face disaster within seven days. Sixteen-year-old Kudan Sakuya meets Shima Touko, a cooking instructor, and a growing bond forms between them. After Touko encounters the figure of "Kudan," her normal life begins to unravel as the entity grows closer. Sakuya attempts to protect Touko and find ways to stop it. At their school, there is a club dedicated to folklore studies. With the help of the Mystery Research Club president, Akinashi Koto, Sakuya works to understand and confront the unknown folklore threatening those they care about.
