A land split into nine regions by rivers and volcanoes, frequently affected by eruptions and toxic floods. In this harsh environment, people await the arrival of the "Taiju-ou," believed to bring prosperity. Two individuals are chosen as the "King's Vessel," one to rule and the other to serve the ruler.
