Kuraki Kyuuden no Shisha no Ou

A boy suffering from a painful, incurable illness dies alone and is resurrected as a low-ranking undead by a necromancer. Though relieved to no longer feel pain, he remains dependent on others, finding little change from his previous condition. His desire for freedom is repeatedly disrupted by the world around him. Seeking true independence, he must acquire both caution and strength. Avoiding conflict when possible and engaging in battle when necessary, he navigates a path marked by fear and uncertainty. This is the account of an undead ruler who, despite his reluctance and timidity, strives for liberation.
