Kuriko to Biyori

A man named Nagatsuka Soujiro, who makes candy for a living, and his wife, Makoto, take in a four-year-old girl named Kuriko as their foster child. Soujiro, who has few memories of his own childhood, is concerned about his ability to care for her. The story explores how individuals who are not biologically connected come to form a family through the process of making candy.
