Kuro no Hiera-Glaphicos

A 16-year-old girl from a once-revered noble family, Valeria Costacurta, is selected as a Dominas after displaying a crest, a rare marking that allows the bearer to use magic. With only about one in ten people possessing a crest, Valeria embraces her new role, hoping to restore her family’s former status through her own efforts. Unlike other Dominas, who are paired with female Hiera-Glaphicos to safeguard their purity, Valeria is assigned a male partner, Dimitar Richternach. Valeria finds Dimitar rude and insensitive, while he sees her as arrogant and naive. Dimitar’s aunt, Orvieto Richternach, tells Valeria that he will not harm her, as he is only interested in older women. Their first task is a covert mission to investigate a reported rebellion in a neighboring city, but the operation quickly deteriorates into complications.
