Kurono Crawford is a noble in the Cepheus Empire who secretly originates from modern Japan. Using his knowledge of contemporary weapons and his personal values, he seeks to become a powerful figure. After being abandoned by his superiors, he is placed in charge of a group of outcasts, including Minotaurs, Dwarves, and Elves, and given control of a struggling territory.
