Kuro Rekishi ni Yoroshiku

A freshman named Tsubaki Kouichirou suddenly gains popularity after a transformation that shifts his status from overlooked in middle school to admired by both peers and students. His change began with meeting a mysterious girl, whom he instantly fell for. Inspired by her, he changes his appearance and joins her school to pursue a relationship. However, shortly after, she disappears, leaving him searching for answers.
