Kyonen no Yuki

A manga artist with over five decades of experience, Eiichi Muraoka recounts his early career and personal history. The work serves as a reflective memoir of his youth during the Showa era, highlighting meaningful encounters with individuals from his past. Muraoka debuted at 19 and later faced a career-ending health issue after experiencing a cerebral hemorrhage that left him physically impaired. Despite this, he found unexpected support and encouragement from others, which helped him return home. He expresses deep gratitude for their kindness. Originally self-published, the work was later officially released by Kadokawa on September 14, 2023, following its initial release and a statement by Muraoka on September 2nd of the same year.
