Kyoryu Daikiko
DINOVENTURE -Stories of Dinosaurs-·恐竜大紀行
Each chapter presents an individual, self-contained narrative centered on a specific prehistoric creature, with the scope extending beyond dinosaurs to include broader paleontological subjects. The storytelling is conveyed from a third-person viewpoint, though no human characters are visually represented. The realistic portrayal of these ancient animals has led to multiple reprints by various publishers, such as Shueisha in 1989, Jive in 2005, and Fukkan in 2018, with some editions featuring full-color illustrations. In a 1998 interview in Weekly Shonen Jump, Akira Toriyama was asked about his preferred manga from the magazine and mentioned "Kyoryu Daikiko," noting that he read it weekly and gained significant knowledge from it.
