A group of people, including Keiji Masuda, meet a violent, disfigured man named Kyo Ichi on a dark street. After this encounter, they are killed one at a time by followers of a growing cult that reveres Kyo Ichi. The cult members share a distinctive mark on their necks, the same one Kyo Ichi has.
