A man named Kazuya Shibuya, working as a day laborer, receives an unexpected delivery of a game titled "Blackout." Feeling unfulfilled with his routine life, he decides to try it out. As he plays, he realizes the game is unlike anything he has experienced before. No one has succeeded in completing it, and it is surrounded by an air of mystery. The possibility of facing "death" as a consequence remains unclear.
