A high school student named Seiya Hitotsubashi receives a threatening letter claiming he must play a game. Dismissing it as a joke, he throws it away. Shortly after, he wakes up in an enclosed room with several strangers. Everyone is confused and asks the same questions: where they are, why they are there, and how they can escape.
