Takahiro works as a secretary for a prominent Japanese politician and is also his adopted son, a status that causes him tension due to his father's disapproval. He is kidnapped by American gangsters, who hold him until a ransom is paid. During his captivity, he is monitored by Jack, his assigned guard. As time passes, a bond begins to form between Takahiro and Jack, evolving into something resembling friendship.
