Sou Kagura's life changes when his parents leave him to settle a large debt by handing him over to Mikoto Ouzuki, a wealthy developer who wants him as a sexual companion. Sou's older sister, Ui, steps in and negotiates a deal: if Sou can repay the debt within a year, he will be free. Ouzuki accepts the terms. Later, Sou discovers that Ui's plan involves starting a maid cafe named "Kanade," where he is to work as one of the maids.
