A young woman from a wealthy family, who becomes unable to walk after an accident, falls in love with a medical researcher during her hospital stay. She purchases his home and demands that he spend two hours with her daily in exchange for letting him remain there. As she pursues a relationship with him, she discovers that he is already engaged and also has a disturbing dual personality.
