Mitsu moves into a boarding house after starting college, seeking a quiet life. The other residents, each with distinct personalities, throw him a welcome party. The following morning, he wakes up beside his neighbor, the novelist Tsuburaya. He also feels a sharp pain in his lower back, leaving him confused about what happened.
