A young mercenary named Gall was once rescued by the powerful magician Kuon. Later, he joins a group of knights tasked with defeating a wizard. The knights are ambushed and quickly overwhelmed by the mysterious magic of Kuon himself. After surviving the attack, Gall has no choice but to become Kuon’s apprentice, even though he lacks any magical talent.
