Kane Blueriver and his AI partner, Canal, perform high-risk missions that require specialized abilities, such as security, patrols, and apprehending dangerous individuals. Milly is a determined private investigator who strives for perfection in her work. As the three collaborate, they encounter various complications that slowly reveal a larger enigma connecting the fabled Lost Ships to their personal histories. Their investigations lead them toward a revelation that an entity known as Nightmare appears intent on keeping hidden.
