A 15-year-old girl named Kimari Haneno enrolls at Shikano Academy's Special Communication department. On the day of her entrance ceremony, the department is announced to be abolished. Determined to prevent its closure, she acts in ways that are out of character for her. The only one who offers assistance is the president of the all-male Normal Department student council.
