A thousand years ago, a being emerged from a sakura tree in a small village. Despite her human appearance, she lacked understanding of love, which made her cruel, leading to her destruction. The sakura tree now seeks to create life again. Two high school students, Tasuku and Honomi, must help the new being, the Sakura Child, learn about love.
