Mitsuru is admired for her beauty and elegance, but she has a peculiar reaction to sudden, forceful actions directed at her, which she unexpectedly enjoys. Her nickname, M, reflects this trait. Natsuhiko, who discovered Mitsuru's secret on their first day of high school, has his own issue—he becomes agitated when he sees his reflection, believing himself to be exceptionally handsome.
