Made-To-Order Satsujin Club

An eighth-grade girl named Ann Kobayashi lives in a provincial city and is a member of the basketball club. She has an intense and self-conscious interest in collecting newspaper articles about tragic and memorable events such as murders, suicides, and accidents with multiple fatalities. She is also drawn to photo collections of decadent dolls. One day, she notices strange behavior from a classmate named Tokugawa. The work captures the suffocating realism of adolescence and its distinct sense of stagnation.
