Eremia, a famous traveling musician, is saved from human traffickers and introduced to Rajid Shan, the king of Istania. She is later taken into the palace to serve as his royal musician. The two connect through their mutual interest in Istania’s history and legends. However, a looming war threatens the kingdom. Eremia faces the possibility of being powerless as conflict erupts, mirroring past events. Meanwhile, Rajid must come to understand that Eremia desires freedom despite her current role.
