Miyu is thrust into an unexpected role as a hero alongside Kai, the student council vice-president. Their involvement stems from Iota, a scientist from another world seeking to stop someone from deploying dangerous weapons in Miyu's world. While Kai quickly adapts to the hero lifestyle, Miyu struggles to accept her sudden responsibility. She questions how an average high school girl could be expected to take on such a role overnight.
