A girl named Yume Kikuchi, who possesses magical abilities, travels to Tokyo to train as an apprentice under Masami Oyamada, a professional mage. During her time there, she studies magic and assists others while gaining experience in the field. As she progresses, Yume discovers that mastering magic does not necessarily guarantee true happiness.
