A maid named Yamanaka Chieko has been assigned to a new home after struggling in her previous job. She is working for Yanagizawa Sanae, a young female writer whose aunt hired her to help with Sanae’s untidy habits. Chieko’s friendly nature helps her fit in with the local community. She starts to make friends, particularly with Sanae and Tarou, a man with cat ears and a tail who lives with them.
