A nurse named Hotaka lives with four other male childhood friends in an apartment complex owned by one of them, Yuuji. Masato, who is married and lives apart, visits them. During his stay, Chika discovers that Miyabi has lent Hotaka some yaoi manga. After reading a few, Chika suggests a temporary dating arrangement with Hotaka, intending to find long-term partners. Believing he will lose interest soon, Hotaka agrees. The friends express discomfort with the plan, especially Masato.
