Narushima Nanase senses spirits and often observes Tamura Taliho drawing them in, though she remains unaware of their presence. Taliho unintentionally exorcises them without realizing it. After a spirit is released from their school, Amagi Ako, a former student who died and was trapped there, appears. Ako befriends Nanase and Taliho, initially mistaking Nanase for his father. The trio discovers that Ako’s spirit was sealed due to a connection with Nanase’s parents.
