Manga Grimm Douwa: Yoshiwara Densetsu

A collection of twelve illustrated short stories, each presenting distinct characters and scenarios. The first five stories in the first volume include a visit to a traditional pleasure district, a romantic encounter in the rain, a bride doll, a princess named Maleen, and a daughter associated with a gachouban. The second volume continues with additional tales such as a cherry princess, a white snake, a river of a thousand cranes, a battle involving monkeys and cranes, a golden egg, a sensitive woman with a side job, and a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Each story is self-contained and presented with visual artwork.
