Game director Kim Jinwoo is suddenly pulled into another world called Arsilan. After clawing his way through a brutal existence, he rises to become an archmage, only to find Arsilan teetering on collapse under a threat known as Erosion. As an Earthling, Jinwoo alone is immune to it, but even an archmage cannot hold back countless Erosions by himself in a mere three years. Just as he empties his mind and gives up on everything, he ascends into a Transcendent. With the Gate of Souls, the absolute authority granted by his new state, he can now cross freely between Earth and Arsilan. He begins summoning fellow Earthlings, likewise immune to Erosion, convincing them it is all a game so they will fight the threat. And so the Arsilan Saga Project begins.
