Hyo Hwa is a witch princess with eight brothers who loses her mother during a civil war in the magical world. Defiant and impulsive, she journeys to the underworld to bring her mother back. The ruler of hell agrees to help but demands she gather 10,000 pure souls from the human world. After spending a long and tedious time there, she chooses to go to Korea, where she encounters new experiences and possibly a romantic connection.
