Maou na Ano Ko to Murabito A

A school trains students for roles in fantasy narratives, but only a few exhibit traits of traditional fantasy archetypes like warriors or wizards. Most are destined to be ordinary villagers. The protagonist, Satou, is one such villager, until a girl named Ryuugamine Ouko, who possesses the trait of a "demon lord," takes interest in him. Despite her small stature and calm demeanor, she occasionally expresses violent thoughts about humanity. Satou's childhood friend, Hikarigaoka Tsubasa, opposes Ouko with enthusiasm. Tsubasa is attractive but impulsive and causes frequent trouble. The story follows these three individuals as they navigate their unusual roles and conflicting personalities in a setting filled with oddities and comedic tension.
