Tooru Kariya, an overworked office worker, discovers that the "Demon Lord" from her favorite manga, "Lapis Lazuli World," has died. Overcome with grief, she jumps from a building but awakens in front of the Demon Lord's castle in the manga's world. She befriends the Demon Lord and decides to serve him, vowing to ensure he receives a happy ending. The story includes two prologues, two epilogues, and two additional chapters.
