During a confrontation with heroes, the demon king Rou is suddenly moved to another world, where he becomes a new student at a high school. One of his classmates, Hitose, recognizes his real identity and expresses a desire to assist him in returning to his original world. Initially, Rou finds Hitose bothersome and odd, but over time, the two develop a bond.
