A man who enjoys anime and video games loses his job when his employer shuts down and decides not to fall back into a reclusive lifestyle. He applies to a private military security firm online, drawn in by the potential benefits. After completing a confusing assessment, he is given a role as a leader for field operatives and sent abroad for training. He soon discovers that working as a private soldier is far more demanding than he anticipated.
