Maria no Shiro

In 1921 during the Taisho era, a girl named Ichijou Maria, orphaned and abandoned by a family that mistreated her, ends up outside her former home after collapsing in the streets. A doctor named Toudou Sei rescues her. The house she once lived in is now a dormitory for doctors at Imperial Maria Hospital. Holding a memory of her father accusing Toudou of deception, Maria takes a maid position at the hospital using a false name, seeking to uncover the truth.
