Goto Asahi seeks a way to cure his sister's illness, which is linked to the mysterious Marroads. These beings, once gods who lost faith in humanity, have become dangerous entities disrupting normal life. Asahi forms an alliance with the Marroad of Hunger, a particularly hostile one, in an effort to find a solution.
