Shizuku Kanzaki must identify the wine his father referred to as “The Drops of God” to inherit his fortune. He faces competition from Issei Tomine, a wine critic adopted by his father before his death. After traveling the world to sharpen his skills, Shizuku finds work at a struggling western-style izakaya. Using his knowledge, he helps revitalize the business, prompting a rival chain to copy its menu and hire a promising sommelier to challenge them. To succeed in this cutthroat environment, Shizuku must refine his expertise in pairing food and wine, mastering the harmony of flavors.
