Jiao Yang, an inexperienced intern, discovers that the attractive man he met at a bar is Li YuanXiao, a famous scriptwriter and his new supervisor. After persistent encouragement from his friend Pei Qui, Jiao Yang gradually becomes more familiar with Li YuanXiao. As their relationship develops, Jiao Yang also confronts personal struggles. Learning about Li YuanXiao is compared to drinking a martini—bitter yet sweet, ultimately bittersweet.
