Algerita, a count's daughter with weak magical abilities, is assigned the demanding task of tending to a dragon by her family. She is also set to marry an old duke. Upon being told by the duke's grandson, Margus, that his grandfather has died, she risks losing her position. Margus then proposes marriage, and she agrees, believing it to be a contractual arrangement to maintain her dragon care duties. However, he begins treating her as his actual wife.
