A university student discovers a love letter inside a borrowed book, addressed to someone unknown but written by a classmate who has abruptly left Tokyo. Determined to return the letter, he encounters a match seller named Seiji Hanashiro. Their initial meeting sparks a connection, and as their lives become intertwined, the letter alters the course of both their lives. This is the first part of a two-part series by Sakae Kusama.
