Kumiko, a 26-year-old in her third year at the drug enforcement agency, is struggling with burnout. Initially confident, she now faces daily frustrations dealing with petty criminals and addicts. To cope, she finds solace in admiring celebrities, especially the rising actor Ezaki Soran. Inspired by her admiration, she begins a new assignment, only to discover that Ezaki is listed as a suspect in the case.
